Offers Sufficient Child Protection
The Latin NCAP has published the report on India-made VW Taigun crash tests. According to the testing agency, the mid-size SUV offers good protection to all passengers in a crash. During the crash test, the adult occupants in the front seats did not suffer any critical injuries. The car also protected the knees from suffering any major impact. The test dummy’s neck and head also remained in good condition after a heavy hit.
In the VW Taigun Side Pole Impact Test, the car offered maximum protection to the passenger’s abdomen and pelvis. However, the popular SUV only offered marginal protection to the chest. During this test, a 3-year-old dummy is placed on a child’s seat to test the child’s safety ratings. The results show that the Made-in-India Volkswagen Taigun offers sufficient child protection.
