In the latest digital rendition, a unique iteration of the Tata Harrier is showcased with a sports kit. Here, the digital automotive designer takes the new Harrier model as the foundation. Tata Motors acknowledges the fierce competition in this particular segment, and the Harrier was long overdue for an update. Consequently, the Indian automotive giant brings fresh the Harrier and Safari. The primary emphasis is on enhancing exterior styling and interior layout. Additionally, numerous creature comforts and technological features elevate the overall experience. Let us explore the specifics of this latest digital illustration.

Tata Harrier with Sports Kit
This rendition stems from zephyr_designz on Instagram. The digital artist has come up with a rather attractive illustration of the SUV. Since the rear profile is quite enticing, let me commence from there. The connected LED headlamps lend a modern appearance to the rear section. However, the most prominent element has to be the quad-exhaust setup. This is something you must’ve seen on top-end performance vehicles. That is exactly what the designer has tried to emulate. One also sees the exotic alloy wheels with low-profile tyres. The roof, side pillars and windows are black. Finally, the front section remains the same albeit with a new V8 Hemi engine. Essentially, this sports kit has lowered the SUV’s height just like sports cars.

Interestingly, the Harrier maintains its original engine since its inception. It features a 2.0-litre Kryotec turbo diesel engine sourced from Fiat, producing 170 PS of peak power and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The prices vary from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 26.44 lakh, ex-showroom. There are speculations about the Harrier and Safari siblings potentially receiving a turbo petrol engine to enhance pricing competitiveness. We’ll have to wait and see if that materializes.

I’ve consistently held a strong fondness for digital interpretations of well-known cars. It offers a fantastic means of breaking free from the monotony of seeing cars with repetitive designs over an extended period. These digital automotive artists bring their unique creativity and imagination into play, allowing us to encounter a familiar vehicle in an entirely fresh guise. Consequently, I deeply value these versions of cars that we can only explore within the virtual realm.
