There is a reason why Indian roads are considered to be among the most dangerous in the world.
This video of a little kid driving the MG Gloster is precisely the reason why our roads are considered so scary and dangerous. Gloster is a full-size 7-seat SUV that rivals the mighty Toyota Fortuner in our market. Hence, it is obvious that this is a humungous SUV with massive proportions. Therefore, it is not easy to drive it in the narrow streets anyway. Add to that, a kid driving it, is mindless to the extreme. Here are the details.

Little Kid Driving MG Gloster
The video comes from YouTube. In it, a little kid, who seems to be around 8 years old, is driving the Gloster on a street. He is so small that he is not even able to sit properly in the driver’s seat! He is barely able to see past the dashboard and how his feet are reaching the brake and accelerator pedals is beyond us. Nevertheless, his father has the audacity and mindless courage to give control of this large SUV to his son. He is heard offering instructions about how to drive.

However, this act can turn fatal in no time. First of all, they are doing this on a proper public road. Secondly, the kid is barely able to see anything and is certainly well below the age even to be qualified for a learner’s driving license. Finally, it is his dad who is putting his and others’ lives in danger by allowing this stunt on the road. We must discourage such behaviour and report them to the authorities because such situations can prove to be scary for everyone around.

Follow All Traffic Rules
We lose so many lives every year because of careless people and not obeying the traffic rules. This is a prime example of that. In a bid to improve road safety and make our roads user-friendly, we must ensure that we adhere to the regulations. Also, such acts of pure stupidity must stop. We are not sure what the people are aiming to achieve with such videos. If anything, it is spreading an unhealthy culture and we could only hope that others don’t follow this example. What are your thoughts on the matter?
