As the new safety norms have kicked in, many motorcycles are still yet to be updated with ABS or CBS. Here is a list of the bikes that are still not updated.
Over the past few months, we saw all two-wheeler manufacturers updating their models with new safety features as standard fitment. As per the new rule, bikes above 150cc should get ABS and below that should be equipped with CBS.
However, as we saw two-wheelers getting updated, some of the models were left without the safety updates. After the deadline of 1st April 2019, the dealers and manufacturers cannot sell or produce the non-updated models.
So, here we have compiled a list of motorcycles that are still left to be updated with either ABS or CBS.

There are 2 possible reasons for the manufacturers to not update their models. Either they might be discontinuing it or they are in the process of launching and have temporarily halted the production.
Among the list, most of the bikes might be discontinued due to poor sales performance over the years. A couple of them might be updated soon enough.
CB Unicorn 160, Avenger 180, V15 and Centuro are most likely to be discontinued. Hero Motocorp is left to update its three bikes – Xtreme Sports, Karizma and Achiever 150. Production of these three motorcycles will be stopped mostly.
As of now, we have no idea about Yamaha SZ-RR and Fazer 150cc. The only CBS model left to be updated is the Suzuki Hayate, which will also be discontinued.
