Earlier this month, Royal Enfield announced a unique online sale of as many as 15 limited edition Stealth Black Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycles that were a part of National Security Guards’ Motorcycle Expedition ‘Fight Against Terror’ ride in September 2017. Registration for the sale of these motorcycles opened on December 8 and the online sale began on December 13, 2017. It has today come to light that all 15 of these limited edition Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycles were sold out in a matter of just. . . . we kid you not . . . 15 seconds.

These limited edition Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycles, draped in a shade of ‘Stealth Black’, were a part of NSGs 40 day motorcycle expedition, aimed at spreading awareness about fighting terrorism and serving the nation. Travelling a distance of over 8000 kms, 15 Braveheart Black Cat NSG Commandos, riding these REs, spread the message of collective responsibility towards fighting terror among citizens. This NSG motorcycle expedition also commemorated the NSG’s 33 years of service to the nation. Flagged off on 7th September 2017 by Mr. Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs of India, 15 Black Cat commandos of NSG rode across NSGs Kolkata, Mumbai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad and Chennai bases and culminated their expedition on 16th October 2017 at the NSG headquarters in Manesar, Haryana, wherein they were felicitated by the Vice President of India – Shri Venkaiah Naidu.

Limited Edition Royal Enfield Classic 500 Price in India
Exclusively available on www.royalenfield.com/bravehearts, these special Classic 500 motorcycles were on sale at a price of Rs. 1,90,000 apiece. The online sale began on 13th December 2017 on ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis. As we said, all the 15 units were sold in a matter of just 15 seconds. To make the ownership experience more special, all the limited edition motorcycles feature a special insignia commemorating the ride undertaken by the commandos.
