Land Rover Discovery 2.0-litre diesel produces 240 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque.
A new Land Rover Discovery has been launched by the British manufacturer. The 2.-litre diesel engine can be availed in S, SE, HSE and HSE Luxury trims. It now starts at a price of Rs 75.18 lakh for the base diesel trim.
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine churns out 240 bhp on tap with a healthy torque of 500 Nm. Earlier, the diesel engine was only available with a 3.0-litre with a power output of 255 bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque. It cost a whole lot of Rs 13.60 lakh expensive than the new 2.0-litre engine.
This new engine is the first to get sequential turbo technology which adds to more thrust and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive is made standard for all Land Rover Vehicles.

The boxy shaped SUV gets an approaching angle of 34-degrees, 30.5-degree departing angle and ramp angle of 27.5 degrees. It also gets 900mm of water wading capacity and towing capacity up to 3500 kgs. With such elements, it surely makes the car to conquer any roads.
The features of both the smaller 2.0-litre engine and the larger 3.0-litre engine remain the same with electrically reclining seats, 360-degree surround camera, four-zone climate control, power third-row seats, intelligent seat-fold, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, protect and remote.
Land Rover Discovery 2.0 has been launched keeping in mind for the higher sales. The company bridges the gap between potential buyers and those who are looking for a luxury diesel-powered SUV.

Land Rover Discovery locks its horns with Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, Mercedes GLE and the newly launched BMW X5. The prices for the Land Rover Discovery now starts at Rs 75.18 lakh for the base variant and goes up to Rs 1.09 crore for the top trim.
