This includes things like the traditional round headlamps encapsulated inside a sturdy rectangular grille finished in glossy black material, retro turn indicators adjacent to the headlights, a solid bumper with short overhang allowing a great approach angle for off-roading adventures, a colossal hood scoop finished in black and that iconic clamshell bonnet.

On the sides, one gets the fashionably retro retractable side step for enhanced ingress and egress, metallic inserts on the fender and rear section for a rugged appearance, a tough bumper at the rear with tri-light setup and sleek taillamps on the extreme edges of the boot lid which are vertically-oriented, high profile tyres for off-roading comfort and an upright overall stance, just like you would find on the older Land Rover Defender models. We appreciate the ingenuity of this modification and it could be a great way for someone who is obsessed with the older model to get his/her hands on one. In this way, you won’t have to rely on a decades-old engine. You will get the new engine of the Jimny with the road presence of the retro Land Rover Defender. However, make sure to check with the local authorities regarding the rules pertaining to modifications on cars. In India, most car modifications are considered illegitimate which could land you in trouble with the cops. Hence, you must clear that up first. Apart from that, we liked this customization a lot.
