Italian manufacturers, Lamborghini has confirmed the launch of their Huracan Evo Spyder in India. The launch will take place in Mumbai on October 10, 2019, where the manufacturer will also mark the inauguration of its newest showroom in the city.
Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder was first introduced for the international markets in February 2019 and the India version will see a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) for the market.
The Huracan Evo Spyder is 100 kg heavier than the coupe version. So to compensate for the missing roof, structural improvements has been done so the car remains stable even at higher speeds. It comes with an electronically operated roof which can be retracted in just 17 seconds with a touch of a button.

Knowing it is a sportscar, let’s discuss the mechanicals first. It comes with a massive and powerful 5.2-litre V10 naturally aspirated engine that produces a whopping 631 bhp along with a peak torque of 600 Nm. Transmission option include a 7-speed dual clutch automatic system with all wheel drive system. It also gets Lamborghini Dynamic Steering which enables four wheel steering too.
Just like other Lamborghinis, this too comes with three modes – Sport, Corsa and Strada. The latter is when you have to daily drive on the streets and Sport is chosen when you want to have fun on the street while Corsa gives the best pull on tracks.
Now taking you through the design of this car or rather a raging bull, the design pattern is the same as the other Lamborghinis. The front fascia comes with full LED Headlamp unit with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). It gets an integrated spoiler at the rear along with LED taillamps and rear diffuser for better aerodynamics and the sporty look.

The interiors of the sportscar feature an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment unit which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. The unit can be found on the centre console of the sportscar.
The Huracan Evo Spyder can be found in three materials, Leather, Alcantara and Carbon Skin. The flat bottom steering wheel also comes with mounted controls on it and it features the company’s signature start stop button.
Safety features on this supercar include Antilock braking system with Electronic brake force distribution, Electronic stability control, Traction control and other driver oriented aids which when selected with different driver’s modes.
As of now, there is no update on the price of the sportscar and it will be revealed at the time of its launch in Mumbai.
