Recently, Rolly Royce launched a Black Badge variant of the Ghost. It comes with a price tag of Rs 12.25 crore. The Black Badge Ghost is aimed at a younger audience. It retains the standard Ghost model’s design. However, the company has added some aesthetically distinguishing features. It sports 21-inch composite diamond-cut alloy wheels with a floating hubcap that keeps the double R monogram upright at all times. You also get optional high-contrast, hand-painted Coachline along with the high-polished Spirit of Ecstasy and Pantheon Grille.
The Black Badge Ghost is powered by a 6.75-liter V12 engine (similar to the standard Ghost) that offers a total power output of 600 PS and 900 Nm of torque (29 PS and 50 Nm more than the standard model). The company has added customized gearboxes and throttle treatments to the powertrain. These changes supplement the engine’s increased power reserves. It is paired with a ZF eight-speed gearbox. Both front and rear-steered axles work together to adjust the feedback (based on throttle and steering inputs) to the driver.
