KTM India has released the official teaser of RC125, saying ‘Coming Soon”. As per earlier reports, the launch will happen by the end of this month.
As we were speculating the India debut of KTM RC125, its official teaser is out on the twitter. The teaser says, “Get ready to unlock the Moto GP racer in you! The all-new KTM RC 125 is arriving soon.”
From the KTM RC125 teaser, we can confirm that it will be available in the newly unveiled Moto GP colour (Black/Orange). Further, it is likely to come in White/Orange and Full Black options as well.
RC125 is produced in India for sometime now, but only for the export markets. Both the 125cc motorcycles were speculated to come long back, but KTM refrained fro launching because its price is higher than regular 125cc motorcycles.

The styling will be the same that comes with the RC200. The loud graphics, fully fairing, aggressive headlamp cowl with projector headlamps, split seats, the naked trellis frame and clip-on handlebars, everything will come here.
RC125 will use the same engine of the Duke 125, with the same specs. It will use a 124.6cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, that is tuned to deliver 14.5 BHP at 9250 RPM and 12 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. The motor will come paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
For suspension, it will use WP Upside-Down (USD) forks at the front and WP monoshock at the back. Braking will be handled by disc brakes at both the ends with a single-channel ABS as standard.

Features onboard will include dual projector headlamps, split seats, clip-on handlebars, a fully digital instrument console and single-channel ABS. The same feature list comes on the RC200.
We expect the KTM RC125 to be priced around Rs 1.35-1.40 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The prices will definitely be more than the Duke 125, which now goes for Rs 1.30 Lakhs. It will squarely rival the likes of Yamaha YZF R15 V3.
