The KTM Duke 125 and RC125 get costlier now, as prices of both have been hiked. The price increase ranges between Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,200.
KTM has announced the price hike of Duke 125 and RC125, as the former one receives its third hike now. The reports suggest that the prices have been hiked for increment in the dealer margin.
After the price hike, KTM Duke 125 now comes for Rs 1,32,500 Lakhs and the RC 125 for Rs 1,48,750 (both prices ex-showroom). RC125 sees a Rs 1,537 hike whereas the Duke 125 sees a Rs 2,248 hike.
For the Duke, it has already received three price hikes till now. Earlier, it was launched at Rs 1.18 Lakhs and was then increased to Rs 1.24 Lakhs. The RC 125 was launched at Rs 1.47 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

KTM Duke 125 and RC125 are the costliest 125cc motorcycles in India, but have power equivalent to a regular 150cc motorcycle. Both use a 124.6cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine, that produces 14.5 BHP and 12.8 Nm of peak torque.
The suspension setup on both of them is the same, with 43mm WP USD forks at the front and WP-sourced monoshock at the back. For braking, both come with disc brakes at both the ends and single-channel ABS.
Features onboard both include single-ABS, digital instrument console, split seats, low-height clip-on handlebars for RC and a single-piece handlebar for the Duke and twin projector-type headlamps on the RC.

In other news regarding KTM, the two-wheeler maker is going to launch the 790 Duke, the hyper naked motorcycle. It has already started reaching dealerships and bookings have also commenced. It is likely to come at an asking price of around Rs 7.5-8 Lakhs (ex-showroom), and expected to be launched in the coming weeks.
