KTM Duke 250 has now been equipped with dual-channel ABS. The ABS variant is now priced at Rs 1.94 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
KTM has updated the only remaining model with ABS, Duke 250. With this, the entire lineup of KTM is now updated with the safety feature. The safety regulations are scheduled to kick in from April 2019.
KTM Duke 250 ABS is priced at Rs 1.94 Lakhs. KTM has hiked the prices by Rs 13,400, over the non-ABS variant, which goes for Rs 1.80 Lakhs (ex-showroom India prices).
The ABS variant is available in showrooms today onwards. The non-ABS variants will also be available alongside, till the stocks last.

Duke 250 has been updated with dual-channel ABS unit, which can be switched on or off, as per convenience. Although, like Duke 390, there are no changeable ABS modes available.
Other than this, there are no further changes on the bike. KTM Duke 250 gets a 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox to produce 30 BHP at 9000 RPM and 24 Nm of peak torque at 7500 RPM.
The 250cc Duke is wedged between Duke 200 and 390. Hence, it borrows many parts and styling cues from both the bikes. The body work and Trellis frame is taken from the elder Duke, while the equipment and some parts are taken from the younger Duke.

KTM Duke 250 gets 43mm WP Upside-Down forks and an adjustable WP rear monoshock. It uses a 300mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake, now paired with ABS.
Features onboard include Fully Digital Speedometer and Tachometer, Gear Indicator, Split Seats, Slipper Clutch, LED DRLs and switchable dual-ABS. It misses out on some features that are offered in Duke 390.
KTM Duke 250 competes with the likes of Honda CB300R. Both offer a similar range of power and torque figures, but the CB300R is priced around 50000 more than the Duke.

In terms of pricing, Jawa Motorcycles, Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Bajaj Dominar also compete with Duke 250.
