There are numerous instances of snakes getting inside cars and two-wheelers in India.
This rescue of a giant King Cobra from a TVS NTorq is quite epic. Snakes getting inside automobiles is nothing new. This is particularly true during monsoons. Due to excessive rains, these creatures come out of their ‘homes’. Struggling to find a suitable and safe place to rest, they end up getting inside cars and two-wheelers even from the tiny openings. If you are not careful, you will not even realise that they are in your vehicle. Let us take an example of this latest case.

King Cobra Inside TVS NTorq
This video comes from SNAKE SAVER MADHU – NIRZARA on YouTube. It captures the entire rescue operation of a King Cobra from a scooter. The locals inform her about the presence of a snake inside the scooter. She arrives at the scene and locates the snake. Mechanics had to be called to open the components of the scooty. Since the snake was moving around a fair bit, they had to open various compartments of the two-wheeler. After a struggle of around 1 hour, she grabs the tail of the snake. It was in the front area underneath the headlight. Then, she made a lot of effort to make the snake come out.

She mentions that even the snake was terrified. That is the reason why it was not coming out. Furthermore, the space from where the woman had grabbed the tail was quite narrow. Hence, she was finding it difficult to pull the snake out from there due to safety concerns. The snake could easily have been injured. That is why she had to be patient. Finally, the snake was rescued and put inside a bag. Madhu is a professional with an experience of over 15 years. That is why she was able to handle it so well. We won’t recommend you get involved in something like this yourself.

Tips to Tackle Snake Bite
Madhu is also on a mission to raise awareness about snakebites and remove misconceptions around them. She educates everyone about what to do if a snake bites you. The key is not to panic. You have around 1 hour before you must start receiving the treatment. Moreover, you must visit the government hospital only. You will be able to get the anti-venom there. Fun fact, the anti-venom also comes from the snake itself. That is the only way to save your life. Let us hope and pray that you don’t have to ever go through something like this, in the first place.
