A Swiggy delivery guy was seen extending a kind gesture towards a sibling duo who were stuck on the road at midnight. Swiggy is one of the largest food delivery companies in the country. With a dense presence in the metro cities, there are thousands of orders being processed every day. The delivery boys on the roads is a common sight. While we may have seen some bizarre news in the past involving the delivery guys, this one will surely restore your faith in humanity.

Kind Swiggy Delivery Guy
A delivery guy from Swiggy was seen helping a sibling duo at midnight when their scooty ran out of petrol. Seen them stranded on the road, the Swiggy employee decided to help them out. In the image, he is seen taking petrol out of his delivery bike and giving it to the distressed men. This kind gesture has won many hearts and the post has gone viral on social media. We come across so much negative news on a daily basis that we forget how easy it is to be kind to others. This sweet and thoughtful gesture from the delivery guy will remind us that we must shed our fears of the unknown and try to help people in need and make a society where others also do the same for us.
Narrating the incident, one of the siblings Tweeted, “Temperature down to 17 degrees, clock at 12.15 am, my bike suddenly stopped mid-way to home because of fuel. A silent night with no passengers in sight, just me and my brother waiting at the roadside for some help until we discovered a delivery man checking out for an address on his mobile phone. My brother approached him for help and asked him to tow our bike, to which he refused and said ‘Sir, I’m going the other way round and I can’t be late for delivery. He asked us for a bottle of water, but unfortunately, we didn’t have any so he took off his delivery bag, emptied his own water bottle, got down on his knees and started removing petrol from his bike so we could use the petrol to reach the nearest petrol pump. I was awestruck by his behavior, for us he was an angel in disguise, a man on his way to deliver a smile to his customer, and on his way to work, he delivered kindness to us. I’ve personally read a lot about these delivery heroes delivering smiles, but yesterday I was indeed lucky to witness it.”

Road Safety
On the other hand, this also gives us an opportunity to touch upon the fact that you must take care of such things yourself. If you are out on a highway at midnight, you must ensure beforehand that there is enough fuel in your bike/car to take you to your destination. Taking such a big chance is not prudent and if it hadn’t been for this kind guy, who knows how long would the sibling have had to wait on the road for help. This is a bit careless on their part. We urge you to be mindful of such aspects of owning a bike/car. It is your responsibility to ensure that your automobile is in a condition to drive on the road with control. It could also turn out to be a road safety issue if your bike suddenly stops on a highway.
