The Kia SP Signature is still a concept but comes with a whole array of production parts which gives us a glimpse of the design of Kia’s new upcoming SUV.
As we are all aware, Kia Motors India will introduce an all-new compact SUV in the Indian market by mid-2019. This SUV will be based on the SP Concept that was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. Expected to be priced in-between the range of INR 10 lakh to INR 16 lakh, this SUV is going to compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and the Nissan Kicks.
At the ongoing Seoul Motor Show, Kia has showcased an almost production ready avatar of this SUV. Named as the SP Signature, this vehicle gives us a greater idea of what the final iteration of this vehicle is going to look like.
The Kia SP Signature comes with several production-ready components, in terms of design which we will see on this new compact SUV. For instance, on the SP Signature, the wheel arches are less pronounced in comparison to the SP Concept showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. The front fascia gets a detailed design and includes sleek LED daytime running lights with the main headlamp unit sitting right below it.

The front bumper and the rear bumper are more detailed and come with faux-skid plates. The rear fascia of the Kia SP Signature SUV comes with bigger tail-lamps with the thick chrome strip running in-between. The alloy wheels seem on this concept are different from the one that we saw on the SP2i when it was showcased at the event to mark the beginning of the trial production of this vehicle.
The interiors of the SP Concept SUV are yet to be revealed by the carmaker as of yet. The cabin of the SP Signature gets a large central screen, something which we have been seeing on recent Mercedes cars. However, the same is unlikely to name it to the production version.
