Kia Motors has officially confirmed that Sonet will be tentatively priced between Rs 8 Lakhs to Rs 13 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). The launch is scheduled to happen very soon!
The launch of Kia Sonet is around the corner, probably by next week itself. The bookings have now opened up officially and the popularity of the compact SUV is rising rapidly. While we are just waiting for the prices, Kia has confirmed that Sonet might be available from Rs 8 Lakhs going up to Rs 13 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
To a prospective buyer questioning on social media about the pricing, Kia replied that the tentative pricing will be around Rs 8 Lakhs up to Rs 13 Lakhs. These are just the tentative prices and the prices will be around this range. We are expecting it to start off at somewhere around Rs 7.5 Lakhs or so. Mostly, the range would not cross Rs 13 Lakhs and will be slightly under that.

It will be available with the same Tech Line and GT Line trims, but the latter will only have one variant. The top-end GTX+ variant will come with the options of a 1.0 Litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5 Litre diesel engine. The + variants are reserved for automatic variants only and in the case of GTX+, for the iMT gearbox too.
Sonet will get a 1.0 Litre turbo unit that produces 120 PS and 172 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5 Litre diesel engine will come in two states of tune, the manual variants producing 100 PS/240 Nm and torque converter units producing 115 PS/250 Nm. The mileage and acceleration figures of the SUV have also been leaked!

The feature-rich compact SUV will get electric sunroof, digital instrument cluster, cruise control, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO Connect internet car technology, smart auto air purifier, ambient lighting and much more. Safety bits will include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, rear parking camera and front and rear parking sensors.
