The first spy images of the Kia Sonet facelift have been leaked online. These include the exterior and interior. Sonet is among the most successful compact SUVs in the country. It boasts high-tech connectivity, comfort and convenience features that make it stand apart from the competition. The compact SUV segment is massively crowded in our market. Kia Sonet Facelift Images
As is the case with every spy image, the exterior is heavily camouflaged. Still, there are clear indicators of the design language on offer. There will be a sleek LED DRL unit on the LED headlamp cluster, a redesigned front grille, a sporty front bumper, and fog lamps at the front. On the sides, there are elegant and modern alloy wheels, and roof rails and the overall silhouette remains almost identical to the existing model. An electric sunroof is visible in these images as well. At the rear, it looks like the compact SUV will get the connected LED taillamp unit. All in all, the premium quotient is bound to go up.

Interior and Features
A generous glimpse of the inside is also available. The main attraction is the black and tan upholstery colour. Apart from that, there is a new central console with stylish control panels for HVAC. Additionally, there will most likely be a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with smartphone connectivity and connected car tech functions, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, cruise control and tons of safety features like a 360-degree camera, drive modes and front parking sensors. In fact, it could even get ADAS after its cousin, the Hyundai Venue, also received it recently.

Specs
In terms of the specifications, there would barely be any changes. This means that the new Sonet would feature the same 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine generating 83 PS / 115 Nm, 120 PS / 172 Nm and 116 PS / 250 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. Performing the transmission duties will be all kinds of gearboxes including 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, iMT, AT and 7-speed DCT automatic. This will ensure that the needs of every buyer are met.
