Seltos also managed to break the record of most bookings achieved in a day, which went more than 6000 units. The booking figures are now over 50,000 and you might be wondering about the waiting period as well.

As seen, the base diesel HTE variant demands the highest waiting period of all. The lowest waiting period is of the GTK and GTX variant with the turbo-petrol engine. Our dealership sources suggest that the deliveries of base variants are speeding up by the day.
Kia Seltos is available with three engine options, a 1.4 Litre turbo-petrol and 1.5 Litre petrol and diesel engines, all BS-6 compliant. While a 6-speed manual gearbox comes as standard on all engines, the petrol gets a CVT gearbox, the turbo-petrol with a DCT and the diesel engine with a torque-converter automatic gearbox.

Meanwhile, Kia has also commenced the exports of the India-made Seltos, reportedly to South America. In the first consignment, Kia has exported 471 units of the SUV. Reports say that Kia has allotted 30% of total production to exports, which will also include South East Asian markets and Africa.
