An image of a Kia Seltos ‘hanging’ on a huge speed breaker in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has left netizens in splits
We all hate those mindlessly created speed breakers, don’t we? Most of these are created without giving two hoots to cars with low ground clearance. Of course, when taken at speed, they even cause damage to the suspension. However, things went really out of hand when this Kia Seltos found himself helpless as his car got stuck on a speed breaker. Now, with a generous ground clearance of 190 mm, the Seltos isn’t exactly a low-slung car. But one look at the image below should be enough to explain how the entire incident would have played out.
Kia Seltos Owner Salutes Engineer
The owner of the Kia Seltos, Abhishek Sharma, shared this photograph on Twitter. He mentioned that his C-SUV got stuck on the huge speed breaker created near Parking No. 10. He said he struggled to break free for many hours but finally had to call help and spend money on getting his car off the breaker. He sarcastically called the entire situation a ‘masterpiece’. He wrote, “A big salute to the excellent engineer who made this speed breaker. Cars often get stuck on this but the administration in mum.”
Soon after his post, the image of the stuck Kia Seltos went viral and netizens from across the country started cursing the administration for such speed-breakers. Indeed, we fail to understand how such careless work gets unnoticed by the administration. Furthermore, this photograph reminds us of the several times we have scrapped the underbelly of our vehicles on such speed humps.
