New reports suggest that the prices for Kia Seltos might start from Rs 9.99 lakh. At this price point, it undercuts the prices of Hyundai Creta.
Kia Seltos, the much-anticipated SUV will see its launch on August 22, 2019. It features first in segment features like Headsup display, Blind Spot Monitoring system and much more. Much said the prices of the Kia Seltos are still unknown but we have got our hands on unofficial pricing details.
Please note that the official pricing is not confirmed by Kia Motors and the leaked prices mentioned here are based on the dealer level only.
Kia Seltos leaked prices start at Rs 9.99 lakh for the base petrol trim and the top end fetches around Rs 14.99 lakh for the 6-speed AT Diesel and 7-speed Petrol DCT.

Kia Seltos is powered by 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol motor which churns out 115 bhp on tap and produces 144 Nm of peak torque.

The diesel model of Kia Seltos sees a 1.5-litre turbocharged motor which churns out 115 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.

If the official prices are kept in this price bracket only then the Seltos is expected to eat sales of the popular Hyundai Creta too in the coming months. Also, the recently launched MG Hector will be affected.

In other news, the mass production of Kia Seltos will take place from July 31. The manufacturers will roll out its first car from the Anantapur plant-based in Andhra Pradesh. This unit is spread over 536 acres and has a capacity of producing 3 lakh cars annually.
