Resemblance with Kia Seltos
A quick look at the spy photos is enough to establish the resemblances with the Seltos. There are many familiarities such as the windscreen, A-pillars, and even the front doors. Yet, the EV4 will have a distinct visual appeal with unique LED DRL signatures. Another interesting visual detail is the unique design of the wheels. The rims help with boosting the range through their aerodynamic design. Also, the cutouts in the camouflage are for the ADAS radar module and parking sensors.
On the inside, the EV4 should offer a pleasant ambiance with focus on space and comfort. A highlight will be the digital cockpit hosting dual screens within a unified panel. This is a setup that is on offer on many vehicles, including the Kia Sportage. The brand might also integrate eco-friendly materials for the upholstery, aligning with the trend in this category. Furthermore, thanks to the EV4’s electric platform, a comparable interior space is achievable despite its smaller size relative to rival models, effectively optimizing the available room.

Based on E-GMP Architecture
Much like Hyundai and Kia’s new lineup of emission-free vehicles, the upcoming EV4 is set to utilize the dedicated E-GMP architecture. This innovative platform will allow the crossover to adopt the battery choices of 58 kWh and 77.4 kWh, akin to the larger EV6, ensuring an impressive range. Correspondingly, the entry-level EV6’s singular electric motor, generating 168 hp (125 kW / 170 PS) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, appears tailor-made for the segment.
On the technological front, anticipate the Kia EV4 to incorporate the latest iteration of Kia’s ADAS suite, named “AutoMode.” Furthermore, the model is poised to embrace over-the-air updates (OTA) and software-enabled feature-on-demand (FoD) services, albeit at an additional cost. These functionalities were initially introduced with the flagship EV9 SUV and are set to gradually expand across the lineup.
