Kia Seltos is slated to launch in August this year and the car boasts features like a large 10.25-inch touchscreen, Heads up Display (HUD) and more.
The much-awaited Hyundai Creta Rival, Kia Seltos is all set to launch next month and the official bookings for the same will start tomorrow that is July 16, 2019, as stated in the leaked brochure. The mid-size SUV will take on the likes of Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Mahindra XUV500 and entry-level trims of Jeep Compass.
Kia Seltos bookings will start at a premium of Rs 25,000 and the launch for the same is scheduled for August and deliveries are expected to commence from the first week of September.
The leaked brochure provided some insights into the premium features Kia Seltos will get, the engine specifications and information about the large network of South Korean manufacturers across India.

Kia Seltos provides some premium features like a smart 8.0 Heads Up Display (HUD), a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO connect technology. The UVO provides 37 connected features including remote start, nav and voice recognition.
The mid-size SUV gets a signature tiger-nose grille upfront along LED Headlamps, Taillamps and Fog lamps. It sits on 17-inch crystal cut alloy wheels, get Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity features, the 360-degree view camera with Blind View Monitor, the latter being the first in India.
Much is known about the transmission of the Kia Seltos, it gets three BS-VI compliance engines onboard with four different transmissions. A 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel, 1.5-litre petrol engine and a much powerful 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine.

The diesel produces 115 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque and gets mated to 6-speed AT gearbox, The petrol motor churns out 115 bhp and 252 Nm torque and gets CVT gearbox. The 1.4 TGDI engine boasts a whopping power of 140 bhp with 172 Nm of torque and gets 7-speed DCT. A 6-speed manual transmission is a standard across all variants.
Kia Motors have already received over 3,000 bookings for the Seltos and recently we shared with you the dealership locations where you can see the car in the flesh when it arrives. The manufacturer plans to cover 160 cities, have 265 Consumer Points with 206 Sales Point and 192 Service Points. The expected prices for the Seltos can be between Rs 11 lakh to 17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
