A notable digital artist has come up with a rather attractive iteration of the Kia EV pickup truck. The future belongs to EVs. Carmakers are announcing ambitious plans to transition their portfolios to electric cars. Kia, under the Hyundai’s umbrella, is taking fast strides to capture a huge market share at the global scale in terms of electric vehicles. It wants to get an early advantage as most car marques are also gearing up for an all-electric future. For now, let us concentrate on the details of this impressive virtual rendition.

Kia EV Pickup Truck
This avatar stems from SRK Designs on YouTube. The visuals capture a stunning version of the Kia EV. Note that the designer has taken inspiration from the Kia EV9. It is a 7-seat luxury SUV from Kia which is slated for launch sometime this year. At the front, this rendition gets enticing LED lighting encapsulating the LED headlamps on the extreme edges of the front fascia. I particularly like the way the LED DRLs wrap around the headlamps covering almost the entirety of the front profile. The bumper underneath is sturdy.

The matte grey paint scheme lends a premium appearance. There are chunky wheel arches with black cladding, accentuating the imposing road presence. The side profile oozes modernity with flush-fitting door handles and black A and B pillars. There are rugged side skirtings to complete a solid side profile. However, the highlight on the side is the mesmerising alloy wheels and a sleek rear view mirror, which is actually a camera. All in all, this has to be one of the most remarkable digital renditions of a Kia EV pickup truck without going overboard.

I appreciate the creativity and dedication of digital automobile artists. While a lot of these virtual creations are often too extreme where one can understand that these will never make it to production, I like the ones which are closer to reality. This is a perfect instance of one such case. All the elements in this digital illustration are almost borrowed from the official Kia EV9 concept which makes it believable. In fact, I won’t be surprised if a Kia electric pickup truck in the future looks strikingly similar to this digital avatar. That is the best part about this imaginative project.
