Currently in development, the new model (internally coded as AY) by Kia will likely offer the Clavis with multiple powertrain options. Kia Clavis with Segment-Best Features

It bears a tall boy stance with pronounced wheel arches. Needless to mention, the body of the Clavis is under heavy camouflage. Still, we are able to witness sturdy roof rails, stylish alloy wheels, vertical headlamps and taillamps, etc. The caption of the post even mentions some class-leading features including Level 2 ADAS, flush-fitting door handles, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof and much more. Hence, it could have a 1.2-litre petrol engine, delivering expected peak power and torque figures of around 82 PS and 115 Nm, respectively. Kia is contemplating the introduction of a CNG variant, marking a first for any of its local cars. Additionally, the Clavis is set to have an Electric Vehicle version, positioning it among the most budget-friendly electric cars. According to our sources, the EV model is expected to offer a higher driving range than the 465 km seen in the Nexon EV. This is likely to appeal to those hesitant about electric cars due to range anxiety.
