Kawasaki Z250 has likely been discontinued as it has been taken off Kawasaki India website. For the past one year, it barely made any decent sales figures.
Kawasaki has reportedly discontinued its entry-level motorcycle in India, the Z250. It has been removed from the manufacturer’s website. Z250 is a naked street roadster which was based on the earlier available, Ninja 250.
Lot of people thought that the Z250 was discontinued back in 2018 itself. In June that year, the last model was sold and it has remained unsold since then. Even before that, it performed poorly in the market.
Kawasaki Z250 has been discontinued in India, for sure, which will now be replaced by the Z300 or Z400. Currently, the Z series range starts from the Z650, including Z900, Z900RS, Z1000 and Z1000R.

Kawasaki Z250 uses a 249cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected parallel-twin engine, that produced 31.5 BHP at 11,000 RPM and 21 Nm at 10,000 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
For suspension, it uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. The braking is handled by a 290mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the back, without ABS.
Talking about its replacement, the Z300 is most likely to make the Indian debut. It will be based on the new localized Ninja 300, using the same 300cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine.
A different set of reports also suggest that Kawasaki might consider the bigger Z400 for the Indian market. It gets a 399cc in-line twin-cylinder engine, that produces 49 BHP and 38 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

However, seeing the recent success of Ninja 300 in India, we think that Kawasaki might consider this one for the Indian market. There are possibilities that Z300 might improve the sales of the manufacturer.
The Ninja 400 goes for Rs 4.99 Lakhs and the Ninja 300 goes for Rs 2.98 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The Z series of both the above models will demand a lesser premium than their fully-faired version.
