Kawasaki Ninja H2 India launch to take place at BIC tomorrow. Price in India – INR 29 lacs
The very exciting Kawasaki Ninja H2 is here! India Kawasaki Motors has just launched the latest Kawasaki flagship in an event at Buddh International Circuit and the new model goes on sale for INR 29 lakhs (ex-Delhi). The Kawasaki H2 can be booked for INR 10 lakhs. The new Kawasaki Ninja H2 was unveiled only recently at this year’s Intermot and EICMA and we’re glad that Kawasaki India has decided to play the Santa and bring its new flagship to our shores! It is being said that only five units of this ‘hyperbike’ have been allocated to our country, out of which at least four have already been sold off!

Basically, the H2 is the road-legal version of the H2R, which is a strictly track-only motorcycle. Powering the new Kawasaki Ninja H2 is a 998 cc, in-line four-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 200 PS. For the track-only H2R though, this engine has a higher max power of 300 PS. To put things in perspective, the H2R’s peak power is as much as 30 hp more than Marc Marquez’s MotoGP machine! Worth mentioning here is that this 1.0-litre engine has been designed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries’ Gas Turbine Division.

The H2’s 43mm inverted front fork’s design is based off the Air-Oil Separate cartridge fork from Kawasaki MX bikes. These forks offer a three-way adjustment and 4.7 inches of travel. At the rear, the KYB gas-charged monoshock offers a four-way adjustment and 5.3 inches of travel. The Ninja H2 also gets top-spec braking package, with its front wheel getting a Brembo monobloc calipers and dual 330mm semi-floating discs with Brembo radial-pump master cycliner. At the rear, it gets a single 250mm disc and a two-piston caliper. The bike comes with five-spoke cast aluminum wheels.
