The actor, who shot to fame with motorcycle flick ‘Dhoom’ has almost always been synonymous with performance bikes. Recently, a vlogger featured the actor and his motorcycle collection on his channel. The video showed John Abraham riding his Kawasaki ZX14R alongside the vlogger on the actor’s Kawasaki Z800. The video even shows the actor asking a lidless rider to wear a helmet. Furthermore, he goes on to describe how he doesn’t exceed 60-70 kmph when riding in city and higher speeds are only meant to be done on a track. He also mentioned how he used to perform wheelies earlier but all that’s past now.

John Abraham has even been trained at the California Superbike School. Undoubtedly, the actor is an accomplished rider with a great taste in motorcycles. What has left us totally surprised that in the video we have here, the actor has been spotted riding in ‘hawai chappals’. This is really a shock as the rider is known to be an advocate for safe riding practices. In fact, as we said, he even made a lidless motorcycle rider wear a helmet. However, it looks like during the shoot of the above video, the actor totally forgot to set a good example by using at least basic riding gear.

It must be noted here that riding a motorcycle or driving a car in slippers is not only illegal but also very dangerous. Riding a motorcycle with gears in loose footwear can result in difficulty in shifting gears or applying brakes due to loss of grip. Of course, things can get a lot more complicated when riding a powerful machine like the Kawasaki ZX14R. We’re really clueless why John, who has always urged everyone to ride safe, overlooked something as basic as this but we do hope he’s more careful henceforth. For now, we request all the followers of the actor to avoid riding a geared motorcycle in ‘chappals’.
