Tata Sierra
Tata Sierra remained in production from 1991 to 2003 in India. The off-roading SUV had a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre 483 DL diesel engine that produced 63 hp and a 2.0-litre DLTC (diesel with turbocharger) engine. The transmission duties were carried by a 5-speed gearbox. These were the specifications of the first-gen model. There were massive improvements in the subsequent generations of the model making it more capable than ever. No wonder John was impressed by the SUV and bought it as his first car. At the 2020 Auto Expo, Tata Motors showcased an EV concept version of the Sierra as well. That could be a hint to the future.
