Jeep India started the deliveries of the Meridian a few months ago but a few customers have reported some issues in their brand new vehicles.
A few Jeep Meridian owners have taken to social media to express their ordeals related to their new SUVs. Jeep is known for being an SUV manufacturer with high-quality products. That is what sitting inside one of its products feels like. However, recently there have been some owners who have complained about the faulty parts and issues in brand new cars. Meridian is supposed to rival the Toyota Fortuner in our market whose reliability is world-renowned. Will it be able to sort out these problems to emerge as a worthy Fortuner rival?

Jeep Meridian Owners Ordeals
According to these two tweets, the issues are cropping up in new SUVs. In this first case, the owner mentions that the battery of her new Meridian died twice within the first month of purchase which is bizarre. Interestingly, as soon as the battery got replaced the first time, there was an issue the next day. It had to be replaced again which is truly shocking. Worse still, no one is able to diagnose the real issues and are just playing the blame game leaving the owners stranded. With the on-road price of over Rs 40 lakh for the top trim, this simply won’t sit well with anyone.

In another separate case, a Meridian owner complains about issues in the infotainment system of the SUV within the first 40 days of purchase. Again, the worst part is that the service centre officials took 2 days to diagnose the cause and are asking for a week’s time to fix it. This, as one would imagine, is a huge challenge. If the SUVs are showing such issues within the first few days and the servicing takes so much time, the owners will have to face grave inconvenience. We could only hope that Jeep India works on these issues and improve the quality of its service department.
