Jeep Compass competes with the Hyundai Tucson but its pickup version could take the fight straight to the Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross
SRK Designs has conceptualised a pickup truck version of the Jeep Compass that could, at least in the digital world, lock horns with the likes of Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross. The trend of lifestyle pickup trucks is gaining popularity and the credit for that goes to the V-Cross. Hilux was introduced based on the massive popularity of the Fortuner and there are no other competitors in the space. This digital rendition gives us a glimpse of what the competition could look like although it is nigh impossible that Jeep would launch something like this.

Jeep Compass Pickup Truck
This digital rendition has a few critical changes to make it look like a natural and proper pickup truck. The front grille has been blackened out to give it a mean demeanour, the skid plate has been made more rugged with two red tow hooks popping out, the bonnet is wrapped in black and red graphics and the Jeep logo has also been de-chromed. On the side, there are quite a few things to talk about. This includes a functional and chunky roof rail pair that is crucial for any pickup truck.

Apart from that, the side pillars are blackened out with the rear quarter giving way to a practical cargo bed. It looks like it has a black cover and an integrated spoiler that has been carried over from the regular Compass. The door panels wear sharp characteristics creased with a typical black side body cladding. The rear wheel arches look a bit smaller and more rounded compared to the ones in the front. While the tail section is not visible, the LED wraparound taillights are seen appearing to the side.

The main highlight of the sides has to be the sporty redesigned alloy wheels. They have been created in a unique pattern and painted black to match the overall rugged nature of the pickup truck. The dimensions of this digital Jeep Compass pickup truck certainly don’t look at large as that of the aforementioned competitors, but they represent the donor model quite well.
