Jeep is expected to bring the Compass facelift to India by the end of this year and this rendering gives you the best look how the final SUV could look like in flesh. There’s a seven-seater SUV in the works from Jeep for India.
We reported to you sometime ago that Jeep is working on a facelift for the Compass and going ahead, Jeep will also introduce a 7-seater SUV in India. The facelift in the Compass will be introduced on a global level and then it will eventually make it to India. Here, we have a rendering that gives us a best look of what we could expect from the Jeep Compass facelift and also the 7-seater SUV that’s due in some more time.
The Jeep Compass facelift comes with significant design changes both at the front and rear. From what we have been able to decipher from spy shots, the headlamps on the new Compass will be much slimmer with new LED DRL elements and grille is expected to be revised as well. There will be heavy changes on the bumper down below with a different design for the air dams and fog lamp housings. It is also expected to be much chunkier than before.
Moving on to the rear, the SUV will boast of similar design changes as the front with redesigned tail lamps and a revised bumper as well. The number plate housing is however expected to remain the same. Coming to the 7-seater SUV, it is certain that it will be based on the Compass platform. However, what’s unclear is whether Jeep will design this SUV based on the Compass or whether it will be completely new model. If its designed on lines of the Compass, it will carry over the facelifted design at the front but will come with a more distinct rear end. Think on lines of the Harrier and the Gravitas and it will certainly be longer.

It is expected to come with a completely redesigned dashboard with a much larger infotainment screen.
