To commemorate the sale of 25000 units of Jeep Compass in India, FCA has launched the Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition. The SUV is based on Compass’s base ‘Sport’ Diesel trim but gets some more features and cosmetic upgrades. The SUV is priced at Rs 17.53 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition is a 4×2 in ‘Sports’ trim with Manual Transmission, Turbodiesel spec; available in Vocal White, Minimal Grey and Exotica. It is based on the ‘Sport’ Trim of Compass. It gets extra features such as a Reverse Parking Camera on the 5-inch infotainment screen, 16-inch Gloss Black Alloy wheels, side step for ingress, Bedrock-branded seat covers, black roof rails, premium floor mats, Bedrock decals and the Bedrock monogram. Other than this, it receives all the features of the ‘Sport’ trim. The SUV is priced at Rs 17.53 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It is priced around Rs 1 Lakh more than the Sport Diesel trim, which is priced at Rs 16.55 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Also, the Compass has secured its best sales within a 12-month period, in the last 10 years.

Compass was launched in July 2017 and since, has been a decent contender for off-roading and adventure rides. Bedrock gets the 2.0-litre Turbo Diesel engine which produces 170 BHP worth of power and 350 Nm worth of torque. It is only available in a six-speed manual transmission, in 4×2 drive configuration. It only gets the diesel version, missing out on the petrol one which is priced at Rs 15.34 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Sport trim comes with features such as LED DRLs, UConnect Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Dual-zone automatic temperature control, Hill Start Assist, Passive Entry, Keyless Go, Start Stop Button and Ski Grey Interiors. For safety, the baby Jeep features Cornering Fog Lamps, All-Season Tyres, Electronic Parking Brake, Electronic Stability Control and a Reverse Parking camera. As it the base variant, it misses out on a lot of things, including some off-roading driving modes.

Jeep Compass Bedrock Limited Edition is now available at all the dealerships. The SUV competes with the likes of Tata Hexa, Mahindra XUV 500, Hyundai Tucson and Honda C-RV. All of them possess some off-roading techniques, while they can be termed as soft-roaders. Compass is available in 3 trims – Sport, Longitude and Limited. The prices for the SUV start from Rs 15.34 Lakhs to Rs 21.94 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
