The bookings for Jawa Perak will commence by the end of 2019. The factory custom motorcycle is expected to launch early next-year.
Back in November 2018, Classic Legends launched 2 Jawa Motorcycles in India. The brand ‘Jawa’ made its comeback in India, 2 decades after it was stopped.
Jawa Perak was also unveiled at that time but was not launched. It is priced at Rs 1.89 Lakhs, the costliest of the three. Classic Legends said that Perak will be available later in the market.
Jawa Perak is a factory custom Bobber Motorcycle. The original Perak ran on the roads in the 1950s and 60s. However, the original one was not a Bobber.

Now, IAB reports that Classic Legends has confirmed the bookings for Perak to commence by the end of the year. The brand has officially confirmed that it would just focus on Jawa and Jawa Forty Two this year.
We can expect an early-2020 launch date for Jawa Perak. As per our expectations, the online bookings will first commence, following the customer test rides and dealership displays.
Jawa Perak gets a bigger 334cc liquid-cooled DOHC BS-6 engine. The engine puts out 30 BHP and 31 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
