Classic Legends has commenced the first batch of deliveries of the Jawa Motorcycles. The first bike has been delivered after its launch in November 2018.
After waiting for nearly 5 months, buyers of Jawa Motorcycles are delighted. The deliveries have finally commenced, with the first batch of bikes already out with the customers.
The first Jawa has been delivered to Mr. Virendra Singh in Mumbai. Classic legends has confirmed this happening on Twitter and have also posted several customers getting the bike.
The deliveries had been delayed for a while now, with most of the buyers complaining about an unknown delivery timeline. However, Classic Legends confirmed the schedule in the second week of March.

The buyers who were promised deliveries in April will soon receive notifications for the schedule. They will receive the date and time of when will they get the bike.
Still, Jawa Motorcycles have been sold out till November 2019. That’s 8 months from now. Reports suggest that Kerala has received such a high demand that Classic Legends might stop the bookings for 2019.
Meanwhile, around 95 dealerships have also opened up across the country. Most likely, there will be 105 dealerships in India, with nearly 2-3 dealerships in metro cities.

Jawa and Jawa Forty Two have been launched, while the third one, Perak is yet to be launched. The roadster twins use a 293cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, that is capable of producing 27 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Perak gets a slightly bigger engine, which is a 334cc liquid-cooled motor, that is capable of producing 31 BHP and 32 Nm of peak torque. Its pricing has been revealed, but the bookings will commence by the end of 2019.
Jawa is priced from Rs 1.64 Lakhs to Rs 1.73 Lakhs, whereas the Forty-Two goes for Rs 1.55 Lakhs to Rs 1.64 Lakhs. Perak is the costliest one, priced at Rs 1.89 Lakhs (prices ex-showroom).

Meanwhile, Classic Legends recently conducted a fundraiser for educating the children of martyrs of Indian forces. Jawa Motorcycles with chassis numbers ranging between 0-100. The owners get tricoloured livery on the fuel tank.
