Finally, the deliveries of Jawa Motorcycles are scheduled to begin in the March-April. It has been officially confirmed on the Twitter account of the brand.
Jawa Motorcycles has confirmed that the first batch of deliveries will begin in the March-April period. The good news comes in after buyers experiencing a waiting period of 5-6 months.
People who have booked the bike in November 2018 will get the first batch of Jawa bikes. They have experienced a waiting period of nearly 5 months. We expect the batches to be delivered every month from March 2019.
Reports suggest that the production of the bikes is yet to begin. Classic Legends had earlier confirmed that the deliveries will be delayed, as they have received an overwhelming response.

The online bookings for the Jawa Motorcycles were shut in December. The booking figures are not revealed by the manufacturer yet. Their yearly target has been set a 90,000 units, making it 7500 units per month.
For the month of January 2019, only 44 units of the bikes were dispatched to dealerships. We expect the figures to increase by March-April, when the actual deliveries begin.
Currently, Jawa Motorcycles is busy opening new dealerships across the country. Till date, the brand has opened around 50 dealerships in the major cities across the country. Total 108 dealerships are scheduled to open by the next month.

Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two have been launched, while Perak is expected to debut by the end of 2019. While Jawa is the revival of the original one, Forty-Two is a modern roadster version. Perak is a factory-custom Bobber motorcycle.
Both the bikes are equipped with a 293cc liquid-cooled BS-6 engine, that is capable of delivering 28 BHP and 32 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Jawa and Forty Two are now available with dual-channel ABS and dual-disc brake as an option. Front disc brake and Single-ABS come as standard fitments.

The Forty-Two is priced from Rs 1.55 Lakhs to Rs 1.64 Lakhs. Jawa goes for Rs 1.64 Lakhs to Rs 1.73 Lakhs. The prices of Perak have been revealed, at Rs 1.89 Lakhs (prices ex-showroom).
