Classic Legends have revealed that they have received most of the bookings from of Kerala for the Jawa bikes. The waiting period is still increasing.
Jawa bikes are still very popular in India, with bookings increasing daily and so is the waiting period. The brand was revived back in November 2018, much to the delight of fans all over the country.
At the launch event in Kochi and Kozhikode, Classic Legends revealed that they have received the most bookings from Kerala. It is one of the biggest markets for Jawa in the country. Currently, this state has the highest waiting period until October 2019.
Reports suggest that Classic Legends are planning to close the bookings for the bikes for 2019. The online bookings have already been shut down just a month post its launch.

At the launch event, Anupam Thareja, Founder of Classic Legends stated, ” We have received an overwhelming response from the state, with the majority of customers falling in the 23-29 age bracket. A large number of bookings has come from cities like Kozhikode and Kochi. We will be engaged in fulfilling current orders until the end of October.”
The launch and delivery timeline for the Jawa Perak has also been disclosed. The custom factory Bobber will be launched by the end of this year. Its deliveries will also begin similarly.
As of now, the booking numbers have not been disclosed yet. However, the company aims a target of 7500 units per month, making it roughly 90000 units a year. We are sure that the target has been well achieved.

As of now, the first set of customer deliveries will commence in the March-April period. Both the launched bikes are now available with single-ABS as well as dual-ABS setup. The deliveries of the dual-ABS variant are scheduled to commence in June.
Jawa and Forty-Two are powered by a 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine. The motor is able to produce 27 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque, while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Perak, on the other hand, gets a slightly more powerful engine. It uses a 321cc liquid-cooled engine, tuned to deliver 30 BHP and 31 Nm of peak torque.

The prices of Jawa start from Rs 1.64 Lakhs to Rs 1.73 Lakhs. Forty-Two ranges between Rs 1.55 Lakhs to Rs 1.64 Lakhs. The prices of Perak have also been revealed, which goes for Rs 1.89 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom).
