The deliveries of Jawa Bikes with dual-ABS system has finally commenced. The first one has been delivered from a Jawa dealership in Nagpur.
The last two-three months have been good for Jawa Buyers. The deliveries for the bikes have commenced and now their Twitter handle has confirmed the commencement of deliveries of the dual-ABS modles.
The deliveries of Jawa Dual-ABS bikes have commenced and the first one is out from Jawa Nagpur. After the launch of motorcycles in November, Classic Legends launched the dual-ABS variants in December itself.
Braking is handled by a single disc brake and single-channel ABS as standard with the option of a dual-channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes. Both the variants have a price difference of Rs 8942.

As of now, the waiting period for Jawa bikes stand between 6-9 months. The deliveries are expected to speed up as the company earlier stated that it will increase the production capacity and speed.
OVer 100 dealerships have fully opened across the country, as the metro cities get more than 1 dealership. Our dealership sources suggest that the deliveries for 2018 are ongoing currently.
Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two use a 293cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, that produces 27 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin gas charged shock absorbers at the back.
Talking about the yet to come, Jawa Perak, it was earlier scheduled to launch in 2019. However, seeing the waiting period, the launch as been pushed to early 2020. The bookings for the same are expected to commence by the end of this year.

Perak uses a slightly bigger 321cc liquid-cooled engine, that produces 31 BHP and 32 Nm of peak torque. It is basically a factory custom Bobber motorcycle, that only gets a single seat.
The Jawa single-ABS goes for Rs 1.64 Lakhs, dual-ABS for Rs 1.73 Lakhs. For the Forty Two, the prices are Rs 1.55 Lakhs and Rs 1.64 Lakhs. Perak is priced the highest at Rs 1.89 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom).
