Earlier, the Isuzu MU-X India price range started at Rs. 23.99 Lakh. The 4×4 model costed Rs 25.99 lakh. Now, however, the prices have seen a reduction and the base model MUX now costs Rs 22.40 lakh. The 4×4 model costs Rs 24.40 lakh.The Isuzu MU X costs a lot lesser than the Ford Endeavour. Such is the case that you can get the 4×4 MU X for the price of a 4×2 Endeavour!

Powering the new Isuzu MU-X is a 3.0 L Diesel that makes around 175 BHP. Internationally, this engine is offered with a choice of 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission options. However, India gets only the 5-speed AT. Ford offers the Endeavour wiith two engine options – 2.2 L Diesel and 3.2 L Diesel. The latter is available only with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are available with AWD.

The new Ford Endeavour is marginally bigger than the upcoming Isuzu SUV. We really like the way Ford has styled the Endeavour. It offers exactly the kind of butch appearance buyers in this segment crave. The nose of the MU-X is identical to that of the V-Cross. But that isn’t such a bad thing. It has the same imposing appearance as its pickup sibling. The fact that the MUX and Chevy Trailblazer are very closely related is evident in its side profile. It features the same DLO. All said and done, both these cars are big brawny SUVs that offer massive road presence.
Isuzu MU X vs Ford Endeavour – Interior Comparison
When you compare side by side, the interiors of the Endeavour seem a little plusher. MU X features a cabin similar to the Chevrolet Trailblazer. You get the same circular auto aircon setup. Both SUVs offer a touchscreen infotainment system, three rows of seats, auto aircon, etc. The cabin of the India-spec MU-X could comes with an all black dashboard and a black beige colour scheme for the rest of the cabin.

Like we said, taking the fight to the Ford Endeavour won’t be an easy task. However, on paper, the Isuzu MU-X does seem to possess the ability to do so. There are other factors such as a weak dealer network that might work against the MU-X, though.
- Price- Isuzu undercuts the Ford Endeavour’s price by a considerable margin.
- Specifications- The Endy offers two diesel engines, while the MU-X gets just one diesel engine option. Both SUVs offer automatic transmission and AWD.
- Dimensions- The Endeavour is slightly bigger than the MU-X. But there isn’t a significant difference in the size of the two.
- Design- While the design is a matter of personal taste, the Endeavour offers a slightly more rugged appearance and a more upmarket feel.
