Isuzu D Max V Cross, Hi Lander, and Mu X have been updated with new tech to comply with BS6 Phase 2 Norms and improve efficiency.
Isuzu Motors India has updated its model lineup to comply with BS 6 Phase 2 emission norms. This includes the entire range of pick-up vehicles and SUVs. Some of these models also come with cosmetic changes. The personal vehicle range gets a Valencia Orange paint scheme. Additionally, the company has added new models to its commercial vehicle line-up. It has introduced AC variants of the Isuzu D-Max Super Strong Single Cab Flat Deck and Cab-Chassis models. Let’s take a closer look!

Isuzu D-MAX
The Isuzu D-MAX Regular Cab and S-CAB come with an electronically controlled Hot & Cold EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) for optimal treatment management. They are the only vehicles in the segment to come with this technology. Now, the updated models come equipped with A-SCR (Active Selective Catalyst Reduction). The new addition along with the set of After Treatment Devices including LNT (Lean NOx Trap) and DPD (Diesel Particulate Diffuser) will help both vehicles to effectively manage the treatment of the exhaust gases and particulate matter.

Both models come with a MID (Multi-Information Display) cluster with Silver Inserts that display DPD (Diesel Particulate Diffuser) indicator and a new sub-menu shows the range level indication for the DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid), fuel range to empty, and instant/ average mileage. The sub-menu indicates ‘Level’, Automatic Regeneration, or alerts the driver for manual ‘Regeneration’ operation. A GSI (Gear Shift Indicator) will help the driver to use the ideal gear in any driving condition. This is aimed to to improve fuel management and drivetrain durability.

Higher Fuel Efficiency with Reduce Emissions
The refreshed passenger Pickup and SUV models get (ISS) Idle Stop System to improve fuel efficiency and reduced emission levels. The automatic variants get low friction tires and the Auto transmission fluid warmer (AT Fluid). The updated Isuzu Hi-Lander gets an automatic climate control system and rear defogger. On the other hand, the D-MAX V-Cross Z (4×2 AT) comes with new blacked-out alloy wheels, fog lamp garnish, dark grey ORVMs, and brown dual-tone upholstery. Safety features include a traction control system, hill descent control, electronic stability control, and hill start assist. On the other hand, the new Isuzu MU-X models come with a redesigned front grille.

In another development, Isuzu Motors India recently inaugurated a new showroom facility in Bengaluru. Dubbed ‘Trident ISUZU’, the new dealership is located on B Narayanpura Whitefield road, K R Puram. Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Toru Kishimoto, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “Bengaluru continues to be one of the key growth cities for ISUZU in the country.
