This has to be the first old-gen Toyota Innova with Alphard kit. I have reported multiple occasions in recent times where the new Innovas have been transformed using this imported kit. But the old-gen Innova owners don’t usually go for such extreme aftermarket modifications. However, when there is a professional aftermarket car shop which is experienced enough in this event, the outcome could be quite overwhelming. Let us take a look at the details of this case here.
Old-Gen Toyota Innova with Alphard Kit
This post comes from Autorounders on YouTube. It showcases the images of the old-gen Toyota Innova before and after the Alphard kit. Previously, the MPV looks in an okay condition. That is impressive since the vehicle has to be over a decade old. However, things take a completely modern turn once the imported kit is installed. As a result, the front fascia boasts a colossal grille finished in blingy chrome, a new set of headlamps, a vertical fog lamp section with chrome surrounds and a ginormous C-shaped chrome belt around it.
There is also a splitter beneath the front bumper which also bears chrome elements. In all honesty, the entire road presence and appearance of the MPV have been altered simply by slapping on this kit. The details in this post even highlight that the interior section of the Innova has also been updated. There is now premium interior customization and an Android screen. The overall layout of the cabin remains the same but the premium materials elevate the luxurious vibe. Also, the vehicle has been painted with a booth machine and with German Paint Material. All in all, it is hard to guess the donor model of this old-gen Toyota Innova with Alphard Kit.
Our View
I have been reporting about aftermarket car modifications for years now. The trend has specifically caught on in the last few years. People want to make their vehicles stand out from the crowd. In a bid to do that, they often go overboard with excessive customizations. Apart from that, I would also like to caution our readers about the legality of such aftermarket car alterations. Most car modifications are illegal in India. Hence, I will advise that you should consult your local RTO prior to making the desired customizations on your car to ensure that you don’t get in trouble with the law later on.
