Aftermarket car modification houses have started customizing the Mahindra Thar Roxx to set them apart from the crowd
This has to be the first Mahindra Thar Roxx in the country with a Cyan interior theme. Thar Roxx, as you might already know, is the 5-door iteration of the regular Thar. It comes with altered aesthetics, tweaked powertrains, added practicality and space, new features and a new platform. Hence, the legacy of the Thar moniker has been neatly carried forward into the modern era. However, car owners always look for ways to make their vehicles look different from the crowd. Let us take a look at the details of this latest case here.
Mahindra Thar Roxx with Cyan Interior
This video stems from Musafir Aka Joshi on YouTube. The host has the car shop owner and the Thar Roxx owner with him. Firstly, he interacts with the car shop personnel. The two discover the alterations to this SUV. On the inside, it gets a Cyan theme which lends the cabin a premium look. This colour is also extended to the floor mats. Apart from that, since this was the base MX3 trim, the car shop even installed a 13-inch Android touchscreen infotainment display, ambient lighting, turbine-shaped air-con vents, star lights on the roof, gloss black materials on the door panels, side pillars in Cyan colour and more. The entire appearance has been enhanced.
On the outside, the modifications are quite intense too. First of all, you will recognize the Nardo Grey colour on the body along with tons of gloss black elements. Then, there is a dummy hood scoop with black colour, a new gloss black bumper, high-intensity fog lamps, auxiliary LED lights on the roof, 22-inch alloy wheels, gloss black door hinges, colossal wheel arches, roof-mounted rear spoiler, new custom spare tyre cover at the rear, sturdy rear bumper and LED taillamps. All in all, almost every aspect of the car has been transformed.
My View
I come across many aftermarket car modification houses trying to alter the very nature of a new car. While it depends on the customers’ preferences, I must mention that most exterior car customizations are illegal in our country. Therefore, you should ideally consult your local RTO before going for such extreme mods. That is the only way to safeguard your cars from the traffic cops. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and adhere to traffic regulations at all times.
