On the outside, the Palisade gets the latest design philosophy from Hyundai. There is a colossal Parametric Grille finished in dark chrome, the Hyundai logo is in the same colour, an attractive split LED DRL set up, a vertical headlamp cluster, a rugged skid plate to assert that authoritative road presence and an upright bonnet. On the sides, one gets glimpses of those massive 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, chunky wheel arches, side body cladding, silver door handles, and chrome belts around the window frame. Specs
The Hyundai Palisade comes with a sole 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine which generates a cool 200 hp and 440 Nm of peak power and torque. There is an 8-speed automatic transmission. You get all four disc brakes and tons of active safety features. The international price of this SUV is Rs 30 lakh. However, if this were to come to India, we are not sure if Hyundai will be able to offer it at this price point. Since this is a premium product, it might have to import this SUV. That will attract import duties of over 100%. That will mean that the prices could well be in the vicinity of Rs 60 lakh.
