A popular Indian vlogger test drives the new Ford Endeavour. The Endeavour used to be one of the top-selling 7-seat SUVs in our market just a couple of years ago. Its outstanding build quality, strong road presence, and excellent off-road abilities made it a favored option in its category. However, in 2021, Ford announced losses of over US$2 billion in India, leading to its withdrawal from our market. Fans are feeling the absence of the American carmaker, especially now that the latest-generation model has been introduced in many other parts of the world. The YouTuber is in Kathmandu, Nepal to test drive the new Endeavour which has been selling there for a while now.

The SUV features numerous chrome bars and garnishes in various areas, including the large grille. It also has C-shaped LED daytime running lights and LED headlights, with cornering fog lamps placed on the bumper. The bumper and skid plate give the SUV a tough appearance. On the sides, you’ll find large 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome around the window frames, noticeable wheel arches, and side steps for easier entry and exit. At the back, the split-LED taillights are linked by a glass panel displaying the name ‘Everest’. Overall, the new Endy has a rugged and powerful look.

Author’s Note
Ford Endeavour was a popular 7-seat SUV in our market up until a few years ago. It was the only worthy rival to the mighty Toyota Fortuner. However, after its departure from our market, the Fortuner has been ruling the sales charts almost uncontested. In recent weeks, there have been many reports suggesting that Ford might make a comeback to India. If that were to happen, we would assume that it would commence operations with the Endeavour itself. We shall have to wait a bit more for official confirmation.
