An Indian vlogger gets her hands on the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross. Mitsubishi is a prominent automobile manufacturer in international market. But it quit our market a few years ago. Nevertheless, Indians definitely remember the likes of Lancer, Cedia, Outlander and the most popular model from the Japanese carmaker, Pajero. The latter was, in fact, so popular that we even see it on our roads today. That is what makes the Xpander Cross even more special. Mitsubishi Xpander Cross – Exterior
At the front, there is a massive grille in chrome, LED DRLs around it, LED headlamps on either side of the bumper, a sporty bumper with contours, a rugged skid plate and an upright stance for enhanced sportiness. The front fascia is quite blingy with a generous use of chrome which is something Indians love. On the sides, there are stylish 17-inch alloys, black B and C pillars, a floating roof effect, practical roof rails, sporty wheel arches with black cladding, silver side body skirting and a chrome belt under the windows. At the rear, there is a shark fin antenna, striking LED taillamps, a rugged bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler and more.

Interior and Features
On the inside, the overall layout is quite rugged and practical. There are features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel with control buttons, a digital instrument cluster, a free-standing touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, physical buttons for HVAC, wireless charging, electronic parking brake, armrest, use of soft-touch materials at various places like dashboard and door panels, manual IRVM, rear AC vents, reclining rear seats (even for the third row), and more. The MPV has all the necessary modern features.

Specs
The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine which produces a decent 104 hp and 141 Nm of peak power and torque. Performing the transmission duties is a CVT automatic in this model. The length of the MPV is around 4.6 m and the wheelbase is a generous 2.7 m. The ground clearance is an impressive 225 mm which is what we need on our roads in India. Interestingly, the price, as per the Indonesian market is somewhere around Rs 17 lakh (INR). That is what makes the vlogger say that India could really do with such MPVs.
