MG Cyberster Electric Sportscar
This video comes from Rajni Chaudhary on YouTube. She has been posting content from the Indonesian Auto Show lately. In this instance, she has the quintessential two-seater red sportscar. At the front, there are modern LED headlamps, a curvy bonnet, sealed off front section, aerodynamically optimized front fascia with an appropriate bumper and a compact splitter. On the sides, there are extremely stylish 20-inch alloy wheels with scissor doors with electric openings, a two-door setup, sloping rear profile with a convertible rear section. At the rear, there is an LED light bar connecting the LED taillamps, LED turn indicators with arrow signatures, attractive rear bumper with aero optimization, etc. All in all, it looks like a typical sportscar.

Just like the exterior, the interior of the Cyberster is sporty and finished in soft-touch red material. There are three screens on offer – a centre driver’s instrument screen and 2 infotainment units on either side. There is another touch panel in the centre console to operate various in-car functions like HVAC and retractable roof, Alcantara leather, powered seats with memory function, leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip for smooth operation, ambient lighting, super-sport mode for racing, premium Bose audio system, manual IRVM, LED cabin lights, sporty seats, frameless windows and more.

MG Cyberster boasts incredible sportscar power and torque figures of 536 hp and 726 Nm. The electric motors are powered by a 77 kWh battery pack. This is good for a cool 585 km on a single charge. You could charge it at home using an AC charger in just 4 hours. On the other hand, the EV could be charged using a DC fast charger in just 40 minutes. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration comes up in just 3.2 seconds. This EV measures 4.5 m in length and has a wheelbase of 2.8 m. In terms of the prices in Indonesia, this costs just Rs 51 lakh (when converted into INR). We don’t suppose MG has any plans to bringing it to India any time soon.
