In this latest video, an Indian vlogger showcases the new Toyota Fortuner with ADAS. Fortuner is the most popular and successful 7-seat off-roader in the country. It is currently without any worthy competitor after the departure of Ford Endeavour in our market. However, the SUV has not been updated for a long time now. In some international markets, there have been multiple iterations of the SUV. Still, a generational update is eluding us. For now, let us take a look at the details of this case of the SUV with some key updates.
Indian Vlogger Details New Toyota Fortuner
This video comes from Rajni Chaudhary on YouTube. The popular vlogger has the updated Fortuner Legender GR Sport in red and black dual-tone paint shade. Apart from that, there are striking components to enhance the road presence. At the front, it gets the LED headlamp cluster with LED DRLs from the Legender, gloss black fog lamp cluster with tons of electronics for ADAS including front sensors, 360-degree camera, Radar, LED turn indicators on the extreme edges of the bumper, gloss black grille, black alloy wheels with red brake callipers with GR badging.
On the sides, there are black side pillars, chrome elements around the window frame, black ORVMs, sturdy steppers for easier ingress and egress characteristics, silver roof rails, body-coloured door handles, roof-mounted spoiler, sleek LED taillamps, sporty bumper, etc. On the inside, there are almost identical amenities to the regular Legender GR Sport. The top functions include:
- Touchscreen Infotainment Display

- Auto-Dimming IRVM
- LED Cabin Light
- Reclining Rear Seats

Under the hood, there won’t be any changes to the powertrain in comparison to the current GR version on sale in India. This means that it has a 2.8-litre turbo diesel mill which generates a whopping 201 hp and 500 Nm of peak power and torque with the automatic transmission. To cater to the off-roading enthusiasts among you, it gets a sophistical 4×4 drivetrain which ensures that you are able to glide over all sorts of terrains. At present, the price of the Toyota Fortuner ranges from Rs 33.43 lakh to Rs 51.44 lakh, ex-showroom. It will be interesting to see what premium the new Toyota Fortuner will command over this.
