A prominent Indian vlogger brings a walkaround tour of the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Currently, the Indian automobile market is in a state of excitement with the news of Mitsubishi re-entering India. It will come as TVS Mobility in our market. Mitsubishi started working in India back in 1998 and made cars here until 2016. At first, they sold popular models like the Lancer, Cedia, Montero, Outlander, and Pajero. 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
On the exterior, the overall demeanour is quite imposing. There are stylish LED DRLs integrated into the LED headlight cluster with a broad horizontal grille connecting them, an elegant LED fog lamp cluster with a chunky chrome surround, a large radiator grille with a rugged plate and a Mitsubishi logo at the centre. Moving to the sides, there are chunky wheel arches, sporty alloy wheels, side steps to ease ingress and egress and roof rails. The tail section has a unique roof-mounted spoiler, vertical LED taillamps, a thick chrome bar on the bootlid, a sturdy skid plate and a chrome belt which runs the width of the tailgate toward the lower side of the numberplate. All in all, it has a unique road presence.

Interior and Features
The inside of the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is premium. It contains modern amenities like a digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, use of silver and piano black elements around the gear lever, rotary dial selector for 4×4 drivetrain, wireless charging, use of soft-touch materials around centre console and dashboard, electronic parking brake, plenty of storage spaces, a 12-inch display for the rear passenger with HDMI port, electrochromic IRVM, etc. In essence, it comes with all that one would expect from an SUV of this size.

Specs
This particular model possesses a 2.4-litre turbo diesel engine which generates a decent 181 hp and 430 Nm of peak power and torque. There is an 8-speed automatic transmission with a 4×4 configuration. This makes it a capable off-roader. If it were to launch in India, it will rival the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.

Now the chances of the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport making it to our shores are not high. In fact, it is too early to say whether or not Mitsubishi will launch its familiar products in our market. It will enter India as TVS Mobility. This brand will concentrate of handling commercial vehicle business, expand Honda’s footprint in our market, launch car rental service, launch electric cars and push other Japanese carmakers to enter India. It won’t necessarily come as an exclusively Mitsubishi brand with its cars. Still, we will have to keep an eye out for more details in this case.
