Truck Owner Income in the USA
This video has been shared by RK’s In America on their YouTube channel. The YouTuber interviews Ali, who is the owner of a few trucks in the USA. Talking about his journey reveals that he has been in the States since 2005. Initially, he began his career doing odd jobs. Then he enrolled himself at a university for his graduation. Thereafter, he was involved with a trucking company which is where he got the idea of buying his own trucks. After having worked for a few years, he bought his own truck and established a trucking business. Now he employs other truck drivers, mostly from the subcontinent.

Income
When discussing the kind of income one could expect, Ali mentions that he is able to pay his driver a salary of around $1,500-$2,100 USD per week. This roughly translates to around Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.70 lakh INR. This is the average salary one could expect in this business as a truck driver. However, to qualify for being a truck driver, one has to pass the drug and alcohol test as well as the medical fitness test.

Finally, Ali mentions that one must not get influenced by agents who claim that they can get the job of truck driving in exchange for some money. These are illegal ways and you might end up losing your money. Make sure to have some driving experience from your home country and get a car licence as soon as you get to the USA. After that, you must attend the truck driving school where they teach you about the rules and regulations, checking the parts of the truck and much more. Then you will be eligible for the DL for trucks or other commercial vehicles.
