A popular Indian YouTuber drives trucks in Canada and takes the viewers on a journey on the road.
In this vlog, the YouTuber shows how Indian truck drivers in Canada go about their business. Karan Chogawan is a popular YouTuber who creates content around his life as an experienced truck driver in Canada. He informs about life on the road, the jobs one has to perform as a truck driver, how to prepare for long trips after becoming a truck driver, etc. In this video, he undertakes a journey of around 5,000 km (back and forth) and shares tips with the viewers regarding the requirements.

Indian Truck Drivers in Canada
Karan has the job, this time around, to take a truck from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Surrey, British Columbia. The length of the round trip is around 5,000 km and the last leg is meant to take place in the mountains. The YouTuber decides to cover the maximum distance on the first day itself which consists of plains and straight highways. A day prior to the commencement of the journey, he visits the local grocery store to stock eatables for the next few days. This includes water bottles, snacks, and other bits. These are stored in the fridge installed inside the truck.

On the day of the journey, there is a long procedure of checking the vitals of the truck including the wiper washer, mechanicals, fluids, tyres pressure, etc. All these details are noted in the log book which is checked by the Police and highway authorities at various places on the highway. Karan stops at a fuel station to get the truck back to full and buys some refreshments like tea and some snacks. On the way, he shows the other trucks and trailers that are on the highway and explains certain characteristics about them.

In the final part of the video, the YouTuber shows the arrangement for resting inside the truck along with how he eats his meals. He has brought a gas burner with him on which he heats his food. His wife has given him enough food to last for a couple of days if he takes at least one meal every day. The basic amenities like a fridge and microwave make the entire journey bit easier. Also, the mattress behind the driver’s seat is where the driver could take rest when required.
