Truck Driver Stuck at -30 Degrees

In this video, he shares one of the most terrible experiences of his life on the road. He is on a trip as the outside temperature is -30 degrees. He stops on the side of the road to have his lunch. There are microwaves built inside the trucks in Canada for drivers to eat.

As soon as he turns on the microwave, the power in the truck goes out. All the electronics stop functioning. He goes to the ignition switch and tries to turn on the truck, but it doesn’t work. It looks like a complete electronic failure or short circuit of some kind. The temperature inside the truck starts to go down rapidly. His phone dies and he is stranded on the road. He tries to go out to check the cables but to no avail. He comes inside and turns on a gas stove and warms his body with its fire. Then, he goes out again to check the truck or ask for help to call the police.

Finally, he fixes some electric components and the power returns to the truck. He clearly mentions that this was a near-death experience as he would not have survived in such weather if there would’ve been no help from the outside. Out of fear, he doesn’t switch on the microwave for the rest of the journey and doesn’t eat his lunch. Only after he arrives in a town, he has his food. This is a case that represents how quickly things could go wrong in extreme weather conditions. Hence, you must be prepared for all such scenarios.
